Visiting Kennedy Space Center?
Make Space Trek a part of your student s’ experience! Our add-on programming is standards-aligned and can be tailored to the level of your students. Whether it be two hours or a half-day, our SPACE Lab makes a field trip to KSC complete!
From First Launch to Advanced Missions
Space Trek offers a variety of add-on programming for your field trip to Kennedy Space Center, each featuring one of our very own in-house educational tools, such as our robotics platform, the ExoNaut, and water rocketry featuring our HydroLaunch rocketry kits. Programming packages can be created for two to four hours in length, and include robotics or rocketry. Student groups may range from 15 students to 80 students in a rotation.
Rocketry (2-4 hours)
Students will learn the basics of ballistic rocketry while building and launching their own HydroLaunch water rocket.
For longer programming, students will predict, collect and analyze launch data from the field and classroom utilizing our Bottle Engine Testing Apparatus, or BETA. Field trip programming is aligned to both state and national standards
Robotics (2-4 hours)
Students will learn the basics of programming through our very own arduino-based ExoNaut platform. For shorter programming sessions (~2 hours), students will operate pre-built ExoNauts on missions and challenges in teams.
For longer sessions (~4 hours), students can build portions of the ExoNaut and use the robot in a variety of challenges.

Rocketry for Your Classroom
Our K-12 rocketry curriculum follows the 5E inquiry-based model and fosters collaboration through a mission-based team approach and is free for everyone.

Robotics for Your Classroom
Robots are an excellent way to teach students the basics of programming. Weather it is blocky programming or code based Arduino programming, the ExoNaut is the perfect tool to teach your students

Professional Learning for Teachers
Space Trek offers a variety of professional learning opportunities for educators, whether it's at your place or ours.
